^^ There's actually a great header thread someone just started, if you haven't found it yet it's in the General Cobalt section.

cobalt-addiction header, xtc 2.5 downpipe. ive only heard good things about these. at this point in your modding stage i'd say its time to step away from gmpp. their header is not very good imo, the ca header is much better. if you havent been to the cobalt-addiction site you should check it out, its a good site. have fun with your balt man!

i would go with a header and down pipe. Cobalt Addiction Header, 2.5 Cobalt Addiction Down pipe with High Flow Cat. Then i would tune the car.

OMG!!!!!!!!!!! That is like....just as good as the CTI header I've been drooling with. But it says a 31 whp increase with the JBP intake. I think with any intake it will do the same thing though. An intake is an intake. Man JBP is really making me want their stuff! Looks quality! Big brake kits, crate engines, headers, ftw!

Exactly!!!!

BTW, guys i think he has a 2.4L. So I don't think he could get stage kits.

Man I HATE when people come out with new products! Makes me change all my plans and makes my decision all the harder. The only thing I know I want for sure is the hahn cat-back! Now I want JBP headers and downpipe, I sued to want the CTI header and downpipe, lol.

You can gain at least 7.5 HP by making the GMPP intake functional with either the RKSport hood, or by adding a hood scoop to your stock hood. See the links in my signature for the HP numbers, and a how-to on the hood scoop. The GMPP intake is strangled by making it breathe through the stock air box bottom. We were stunned at how much HP and torque the scoop adds.

Through everything I've seen thus far. I agree that CA header is the utmost best. Though I am not sure of what downpipe to use so I'll stfu on that one. Also think about a tune. See if there are 2.4 or SS/SC owners in your area that are getting in on a group buy which will save you money. Price of tune without group buy is $400-500 or something close to that and with group buy about $250-300. Hope that helps bro.
