i run someone in town with a CAI, same car, same tranny and i beat him all the time..

as well...i am planing to do a custom heat shield and redirect air from other regions of the car..my pipe>your pipe

 

i loved the stock intake before i did the k&n.when the stock one was on right a 6000 rpm to 6500 rpm there would be this really nice whistle..sounded cool! plus theres no such thing as cold air intake in arizona!!!lol

 

Sooo what you are trying to say....

An SRI which draws it's air from the engine bay.... gets a cooler charge than from a couple feet away behind the fog light....


DO you realize how dumb that sounds!

 

i must not have that mod..on certian nights when i shift prior to WOT and then give it some WOT it sounds like BOV

haha ive never tried that.i usually power shift cause of pe delay and it hits limiter once in between and makes a nice popping gurgle noise.sounds like a turbo supra shifting lol or atleast i fool my self to think that but my brother says the same....."dude it sound like a supra" my response "shut up"...lol

nice i have the 2.2 with intake and exhaust and ran 15.6 @ 88 mph.anyway about this intake thing.im sure you do get maybe half a horse to 2 horse from a cold air but youll never feel it.its too little of a gain so who cares!really!people have there own opinions. i dont believe cold air works cause i live in arizona the hottest state in the F-ing world!blah!but put me in somewhere cold and it might change my opinion.who knows.quit bickering children...just kiddin im 24 lol

 

its like arguing whats better "supercharger or turbocharger" both have their pros and cons.

but i am sure a ton of memebers on here would say without a doubt that the supercharger is better
