Oh, no drama here, I just felt like an idiot when I saw what forum it was in. I had to defend myself, it's like...freakin' law.

my e-dick is bigger btw then yours but....

I don't even know if 2.4 internals are available to do what your looking for. I know there is availablity on the 2.0 & 2.2 but 2.4 is tricky plus your dealing with a custom VVT camshaft... some parts are interchangeable on the 2.0 - 2.2 but I don't think the 2.4 has anything out yet unless you go custom. Talk with G5Delta. He had a custom cam and retainers/other internal goodies done but had difficulties in the past getting it done due to stupidity from other people and lack of information given on his setup as well.

on my Patriot Stage 2 head, the springs and retainers were the only thing that was replaced - everything else internally is still stock and the head is supposed to be bulletproof to 8K.

neutral balance shafts may benefit you but I don't believe they are full required.

but as already said, basically cams to make it worth it and springs/retainers.

GM Build book just states you need to replace the springs and retainers to achieve an 8k redline. Read the 250-600hp book. I know its a 2.4, i would still use it as reference. You dont want to forget about the Rods. They are the ones feeling the force of that 8k rpms. Eagle rods are rated for 550+hp and 8k rpms. When you increase revs, you put a great deal of stress on the crank and rods.
