ok my buddy has an 07 base modle LT and its an automatic and he added a huge ass tac. iv been tryin to figure out y someone would add a tac to an auto anyone have an idea?

There is NO POINT, there really isnt a reason to have one in a 5speed either, just get a shift light & call it a day

i asked him he just thinks its kool i thought it was stupid but i had to make sure that i wasnt missin somthin here i didnt think there was any real point to it other than makin a domestic look ricey

need a tack i keep gettin high up in the rpm's and i dont think its good

 

if you have that issue pay more attention to your car, or get a shift light. PLEASE for the love of god dont get a 5"1/2 tach for your car...

I can one up that. Last year on ebay someone was selling this god-awful looking AUTOMATIC Civic with a huge tac and.........wait for it................SHIFT LIGHT...

 

lmao shift light in an auto i couldnt believe my buddy was even puttin a tac in his coalt i meen come on its an AUTOMATIC. and yes it hooked up i guess i havnt seen it in person but i drove by his car and its sittin on the dash

oh and to add to it he has no muffler what so everhe just cut it off so along with the tac in an auto he sounds like a ricer too lol

 

wht do those huge ass tachometer do anyways?...I thiknk it takes up space

 

Just reads your RPMs...that's all. It's more of a accessory in this guys car.
