Who's got the Hahn turbo system?

I'd like to hear from everyone who has this kit and what they think about it. I am particularly interested to hear from those who have '07 and up 2.4L Cobalts as I know there are some PCM differences for these cars versus the earlier ones, and would like to hear about the quality of the tune, driveability, etc.

There is no difference in the ECM between the 2006 and 2007 LE5’s. They all have the E67 ECM, I believe the only 2.4 with a Hahn kit is Celicacobalt.

Yes, both E67... BUT I was under the impression that the internal running software was slightly different, as GM loves to update this sort of stuff each model year (and even midway through).

Yes some do have differnt OS's but not to the point that it would cause a promblem tuning them. Just need an updated file. I had to do that to tune my 2.4

I don't think there's many active members that are running this kit. Celica is about the only, there may be a few more that have it but they rarely post if at all. Honestly though Hahn knows their ****. They've delt with the ecotecs for some time and put out great products, you rarely ever hear anything negative about them.

So you can't adjust the boost with a boost controler? I thought that's what this kit did, all in one with one adjustment...??? And does any one have a pdf link for the install directions?

Yeah you can adjust it via a boost conroler. Then there's a knob i believe you turn to richen or lean the fuel determined by how much you upped the boost.

Well I know that but I thought Hahn released something for the 2.4L that controls all that in one....?

No they have the "boostfuler" which i believe is just a return style set-up with an adjustable FPR. All you have to do is once you up the boost then adjust the FPR to get the right a/f.

I don't. A lot of the reason most people went with the base SS is because they couldn't afford the payments and insurance supposedly on the SC, doubt they would have the cash now to buy the system.

the boost can only be changed manually with the kit, you can always add ur own boost controller if you want but me as much boost as i up it to is how its gonna run everyday, im not gonna be changing boost levels all the time so im ok with the manual way. The boost fueler is a way to adjust your air/fuel ratio when tuning.

how long did it take for you get to the whole process? from sending the PCM to finish installing the kit (basically driving it again)?

well, plan on a week of downtime based on the sending and return of the pcm's from hahn, ive done it twice and that seems to be the norm.

Why twice? Was there some sort of tune update?
