Who's running some wide tires on the 17 inch stockers?

I wanna get some wide tires on my stock wheels for good traction and wanna see what will safely fit on a stock rim. Let me know.

I don't have any yet, but I've been researching it and a 225/45-17 should be be about perfect.

very little rubbing, only when fully turning.

im running 225/45/17. No rubbing and it handles much better.

from what i have gathered based off of other people experiences, 225/45 is the way to go. gm should have done that from the factory.
