what i mean by this is that the 2.2 (base model cobalt) has a very nice head block with a little cover thing that says 2.2 ecotec that just fits in perfectly....but for the 2.4 you can buy a little cover for the sparkplugs but its big and bulky and in my opinion ugly as hell....you all know what im talking about..like wth

Uhhh. . . . you must be talking about the camshaft cover lol?? Because the head and block are pretty robust IMO.

ugly != shitty

Why make the engine look pretty?

IMO...I want it to look as shitty as possible, so if someone does catch a glimpse...they dont know what they are looking at due to the endless amounts of 3" thick dirt.

I personally dont like anyone knowing what I have.

Thats because the the LAP engines use the the same valve cover as the LE5. The L61 has a nice cover lol.

Not the 07/08 L61's. They looked like the LE5/LAP aside from the lack of "VVT". The 07+ had that stupid ass plastic engine bay cover that required the oil cap extension for. I know because I had an 07 L61 G5 up until 2 weeks ago.
