Intake Manifold
Fujita CAI
Intake mani to head gasket
SC to IM gasket
Bosch IC pump w/ bracket
Heat Exchanger, worked on JN2's 2.8 set up. hooked up for Opt. B
Second coolant reservoir for Opt. B

The list excludes misc. nuts and bolts, connectors + wiring, brackets, etc. but thats it in a nutshell.

Are there any other G5 GT S/C though? Auto or manual? Too bad nobody is really keeping track.

is it safe for me to run the 2.9 or the 2.8 on my 2.4 and not worry about me having higher compression and blowing my **** up?

has anyone put a thicker head gasket on their 2.4 to lower the compression for boost? it sounds like a good idea to me.

Xander don't lower your compression. 93 octane will handle it just fine.

its gona handle low boost with the stock 10:1 compression but high boost is gona snap a rod because that supercharger is going to pack way to much fuel and air in the cylinder and snap goes your rod.

the ss/sc has like 8.8:1 compression so they can handle more boost.

It will be fine and won't snap a rod. I've honestly never seen a rod snap in an ecotec. Every engine failure I have encountered has been piston or sleeve related.

Xander you will not have an issue. I won't go into detials now but if you want more just shoot me a text and I'll explain. Its all in the allowed timing advance and knock threshold.

thats kinda what i figured, it all has to do with tuning. if i get a good tune then ill be fine but a bad tune would cause serious problems

advancing the timing would be a plus so it doesnt ignite as early in the stroke. it would let the piston almost hit TDC before it ignites then combustion lag allows the piston to pass TDC before it completely ignites the whole cylinder.
I wasnt forsure if a tune could advance the timing is why i was worried
