fyi zzp has gotten 356whp out of the 2.4 and it held fine. the 2.4 is stronger than the 2.2
He will most likely be around 225-250whp so he will be fine as long as he has a good tune on it!

As long as you can keep things cool and all the numbers are looking good Id say to go for it.

TVS + 2.4 seems to be a mismatch anyway, unless steps are taken to forge the 2.4's internals. The local TVS'ed 2.4 blew all FOUR pistons due to over-reaching the motors capability. From what I hear it ran GREAT on the stock TVS pulley though.

Actually he blew it cause his car went lean and melted all four pistons. I guess they tuned his car on the map sensor and it popped off during a pull and he failed to let off it before it popped. Also his wideband stopped working cause of some electrical problem, but hey I didn't tune it so I know it wasn't me lol.

That sounds more likely as like i said zzp made 356whp on their 2.4 stage 3 car. I dont think a tvs 2.4 was that high. Though valve springs and the fuel pump wiring upgrade would be a good idea.

Ya the 2.4 cobalt is only working with 60lb injectors with no other upgrade to the fuel system. With xanders car I plan on making it much safer to drive since I kind of live and hour away. The cobalt was also getting a good bit of knock and it was not removed they got it down to like 3 degrees and didn't finish removing it all. I am already looking foward to doing some more 2.4s and giving a 2.2 a try.

Hey someone has to give good customer support sometimes so I figure why not me lol. Glad you are still happy with your tune. The only way you will ever learn anything is if you ask others for the info or read for days on end lol. Let me know if we need to do anything else before I get my stuff from hp tuners.
