Shoot, I wish I could mod based on timing. I live paycheck to paycheck Really no money leftover every month after bills, food and gas. Most everything done to my car was done while I still lived with my parents. Those were the days.......

i still live with the 'rents.... but when i graduate my full income is gonna double. im gonna have everything squared away before i officially move out in january. i pay tuition out of pocket, so since that'll be gone ill be putting that towards the rent. i pretty much take care of all my other bills so nothing will be much of a surprise to me. as long as i stay focused on my build budget i should be good to go.

Word. Well good luck to ya. My income only slightly went up after highschool, so living on my own (well, with roomates) is very costly for me. I couldn't afford college.......and honestly, even if I could, I just don't think I have the patience to complete a 4 year course. I did do community college for a year before I found my old job (now laid off).....but once I start full time work again and get back on my feet, I wanna go back and at least get an associates in something.

Damn you!

Shoot, i'll just be happy to get back into fulltime work again. For the most part, i'm happy with my car where it stands. Like I said, I just have a few little plans for it......but they can wait. That whole chalkboard paint idea is still running around my head, but I just don't think i'll be able to afford that full scale makeover anytime soon. However, on the brightside, I should be getting my SS/SC lip sometime VERY soon. Also, my unemployment pay + my tax return + my 72 hours vacation pay I had cashed out from my old employer after they laid off.........it might actually overlap when I start my new job, which means i'll have a little bit extra money. BUT, being as i'll only be making a SHITTY $11/hour (compared to the $15.50/hour I was making at my old job) i'll beed to be careful with my money until I start getting commission after 90 days. But I might try to get the Modern Performance mats and SRP Racing pedals sometime soon

Nice man sounds like you got a plan together. I should have my car paid off come january cuz my parents are matching me dollar for dollar on my buyout. So if that goes well then I should be able to rip through the rest of my bills and debt pretty quickly. Being debt free should put me at about a grand worth of whatever money a month which I'd be more than thrilled with. You'll figure everything out though as far as work and money. You seem like you actually care about being employed and wanna try to get ahead.

Man your build is gunna be badass dogg. I like the fact that your doing it the right way to without blowing your budget. I'm doing the same thing I just got my exhaust, then i'm gunna get my header and finish off with the tune.

JBP stg1 head kit which includes

Full Race Port and Polish
Glass Bead
Knife Edged Intake Runners
Port Matched Intake
Port Matched Exhaust
JBP Performance Valve Springs (7000rpm)
Viton Valve seals
JBP 3 Angle Valve Job
Stock Valves
Stock Retainers
Stock Locks
Stock Guides
FelPro Head Gasket
Resurfaced Mating Surface

Along with this goes my JBP Triflow cams

And solid Ecotec lifters

For the boost portion of the build

JE 10.5.1 COMP PISTONS
Eagle H-BEAM rods
ARP Head Studs
SPEC Stage 2+ Clutch
60lb Injectors
M62 Supercharger
2.9 Pulley
ZZP Heat Exchanger
Dual Pass

soooo the cams arent goin in till i get the head kit. which is why i call it na/boost build. I'm gonna run around with the buit up head till i can gather all the boost components. so ill still be able to represent for my NA 2.4s for awhile. I'm goin with the jbp head kit cuz its got everything all in one and i wont have to keep buying parts from different places plus they can do all the machine work at one time and i wont have to worry about my car being down for a long amount of time with everything ready to install at once.

So thanks to Cobeezy for the idea!!!!
