ZZP 2.5 DP with high flow cat vs stock DP and high flow cat

I recently installed the Bad Mab header and have Corsas Touring Catback. I was looking at getting ZZPs 2.5" DP with the high flow cat but thought whats the point of getting the whole dp when i can just get a high flow cat welded onto my stock dp (i have to have a cat for emissions where im at). I understand that the zzp dp probably flows a bit better but how much of a difference can a pipe make if its the same size as what ive already got? I assume the difference between the two is how the pipe is bent and thats pretty much it but correct me if im wrong. So do i really need to spend 200 bucks on a DP n cat or can i just get a universal high flow and call it good for like 100 bucks less.

From what I was told and I'm sure others can comment, the stock pipe tapers down to 2 inches before the cat and opens back up again after, the ZZP is a true 2.5 inch thru and thru.

yep what he said. I think zzp has a picture of it on their website. btw an aftermarket downpipe will make your car considerably louder fyi when you have a header and catback already that is....

Downpipe is the most restrictive exhaust piece
