Just post that theres only 2 subaru's that have beat the ss/tc around the nurburg ring stock.... and 99% of nasioc members dont own them :P

7:55 2011 Subaru WRX STi
8:06 Subaru WRX STi Spec-C
8:22.85 Chevrolet Cobalt SS/Tc (2007)

Hardly. The TC'd Cobalt SS' respond pretty damn good to mods to say the very least.

Ever heard of a biased opinion?

Give them a taste of that and see how they respond.

Trying to talk sense on that site is worthless. If it isn't a Subaru they really don't want to hear it, especially about a Chevy lol.

my friend is in love with that site and believe everything that is said on there. he always bitches at me for owning a chev and not having as much power as him. but then i just laugh at him when his repair parts come in. subie's are great stock very reliable but seems when they start to mod them there are things that like to go wrong.

When I got my ss/tc I hung out with a bunch of suby ppl generally because my buddies had them, and the arrogance isn't just on nasioc. Right when I pulled up to dunkin for a meet before we would roll down to connecticut on a friday night I had a couple of people looking down on it already not knowing a spec of information about the car except that supposedly they are all supercharged and blah blah, a couple of people pointed out the liked my seats, some surprised that it had brembos and a few people were just being nice complimenting the new car (thinking in the back of their had its still a slow shitbox). But the point is, you really have to get it through their thick skulls that this car is not too bad at all. Notice a handful of people said nice car on nasioc because they saw a ss/tc's put down good numbers? Anyways as arrogant and skeptical as my friends were even the non-subie people, it didn't take much for them to realize its well rounded car, especially when I put few cars on my buddies sti after a tune. If some of you think that cobalt owners think of their car as godly I highly suggest some of you to hang with the scoobaru people, their egos are bigger than the wings on the back of their cars.

I think that the 2011 sti was riding on some pilot sport cup tires, with a bigger turbo from a Japanese special version of the sti. Anyway, it's still a badass machine and I want one.

this is how you gotta look at it, awd is better than fwd but the lnf is a better buy for you buck and more reliable when you throw some mods on, both cars have their positives and negatives... i love my car but at the same time im also looking to get a new 2011 sti when the offer the sedan again, but i will be keeping the redline at the same time (its been paid off for 3 years)
