we have a boost bypass valve setup you can control with a electronic boost controller if you want https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/showthread.php?t=78861

When are people going to realize boost does NOT equal horsepower!

You can only boost a car so much with its stock supercharger/turbocharger.

There IS such a thing called "Overboost", which although Your PSI might say your running 25psi(for example), your only using 20psi.

Now, how is that possible? Basically your pushing air in...yes...but your engine can only inhale so much, and your Turbo/Supercharger can only push so much. With that said, you might be "overspinning" your blower, which might add some PSI, but your not getting more power out of it.
