even though rulebook says plates just have to be welded to floor...after seeing how thin the floorboard really is,and understanding how a unibody works,i decided to cut some mild steel plates same thickness as bars mount to 1/8" and going to have them welded to the "rocker box"
and the plates that bars attach to for added strength and piece of mind,,,then took everything back apart now that its all fit up good,do a final prepping for weld and get it all welded in for good,then ill work on roof and windshield runners,and the backhalf section!
probably wont be any updates for a few weeks till its welded up,getting siked

project is in full swing,lots of progress! but it went a different route body is in process of going on a true frame,instead of depending on the unibody and backhalf...expect it to be moving on its own realistically by feb or march of 17
