He told my friend it'd take one week to install a 35r on my buddies Speedsix. 1 week turned into 5 or 6 weeks. All in which time he was renting a car......

exactly, just show them a pic of under your hood and that way you dont have to drag the car around. you would be suprised what a basic muffler shop will be able to do for you!
