How you liking the GS overall? How's the shifter feel?

I've really considered giving up on saving for a new car and just buying the Regal GS m6, but with the crazy HP numbers coming out of new cars these days I almost feel like I need a bigger upgrade from the LNF/LHU. That Camaro 2SS for under $34k brand new is really calling my name...

I'm loving the GS!

The interior is a very nice place to be, and the Harman kardon sound system is fantastic.

I've only done two mods to the car so far (K&N intake & secondary cat delete), and the car has responded well. Yes, I know peak hp won't change due to the calibration always maintaining 270hp 295tq, but mid range power has def increased, and the turbo spools a bit quicker now. The intake really livened things up in terms of sound.

The car handles fantastic, and the brakes will put you through the windshield if you lay into them hard enough, lol.

Only gripe is there is no factory boost gauge, but I'll be installing a scangaugeII (popular on the regals), in the near future to monitor all parameters.

I must say, the car has a nice exhaust note. It doesn't sound like a 4 cylinder at all, so I won't be messing with the mufflers or resonator. That's for sure.

I was considering a new Camaro SS, but the back seat is useless, and that's not going to work for me when my wife and I have kids, Lol.

Very nice! How's the AWD feel?

Yeah I only have 3 dogs to worry about, but they only get to ride in the truck anyway. I've heard Challengers are the most carseat friendly 2-door pony car, and the scat packs are sweet.

No AWD offered in 2013. AWD opt. began in 2014.

I wanted the 2013 for the slightly more powerful LHU engine.

2012-2013 LHU: 270hp @ 5300rpm 295tq @ 2400rpm
2014-2017 LTG: 259hp @ 5300rpm 295tq @ 2500rpm

Maybe I'll get a Cobalt SS for my next winter beater.

Of course it will be kept mint, and not actually a beater car, lol.

So you're going to get a cheap car and keep it mint because you want to keep your Grandpa car mint? Just making sure I understand this correctly...

I'm not buying anything...

I already have a winter beater. Had one for many years.

None at all actually.

There's a little spot on the GS where the scangauge 2 fits perfectly, and can be hidden if need be.

Gauge pods, and column pods just don't look right on this car.

They have a vent gauge for the car but its $400. No thanks.

The scanguage 2 can pretty much do everything the interceptor can do, made in the good ol , and is about $100 cheaper than the interceptor.
