There appears to be three primary kinds of rear tail lights that are tinted. I am looking for the darker of the two.
I bought some in the past for another car and they were much lighter in person.
If anyone has these and can comment on the darkness, post pics etc. or suggest a different brand that is darker etc...I would appreciate your time....THANKS!!
These which are the less flashy and look the most like stock and cost the less....
The modern performance ones which appear to have a cross in the middle:
Lights & Bulbs - Spyder LED Taillights, Smoked 05-10 Cobalt Coupe
Or the ones with a ring pattern:

Let's start with the ones with the cross in them. These are mostly sold WITHOUT the inners on Ebay. To my knowledge MPX is the only vendor that offers the complete set in your link. Here's a picture of the outers my car:
The Amazon ones you linked are known as the K2 LED tails. They are cheapest from K2 motors on Ebay for just under $120 shipped. Here they are in my car:
There is a third option, and that would be a modified set of the K2's that I'm currently running in my car. The most expensive op[tion, due to the fact that they take (2) sets of of the K2 tails to make. They have an LED ring in both the outers AND the inners (as in my sig pic). Picture of these in my car:

Gosh the pictures make them look really dark but when you see them in the day they look lightly tinted...
I was looking for cherry color or a bit lighter....
How about these?
These look the most like stock and cost the least....

Depends on whether you're looking for clear smoked or red smoked. And the set you just linked doesn't have LED's. Regular bulbs in a tinted lens may get you in trouble because they're too dark...
Have you considered the red smoked K2's?

Actually had a SRT4 with completely blacked out tails never one ticket....
Your link...are these different than yours? Cause they all just say smoked. None of them state red smoked or clear smoked...?

Yeah it's very confusing. For the longest time, the clear smoked sets were shown with the red smoked picture on many different sites. I used to get asked where I got mine all the time because the picture didn't match the description. But yes, these are red smoked as opposed to clear smoked.

Much better to get the K2 clear smoked for 119 shipped and throw a quick spray of Nightshades over it. It'll look better, be cheaper and you won't get rear ended or get a ticket

I think I am going for the red smoked ones you linked me to. Have you bought from this vendor on ebay before ? ...or is there a possibity that they will send me out the clear smoked instead of the red smoked?
I really appreciate your opinion..and your time. THANKS

I think your right....getting those for 150 without the leds is dumb...I could nightshade my OEMS myself for less than 15 to 20 bucks.

I've always been curious, are tinted/smoked headlight lenses aftermarket? They look darker and flow nicely with a black balt. I have Gen 2 headlights, and the lenses are the stock looking type, white basically the way it looks on the car, and every time I see a black car with the darker/smoked headlights it made me want to inquire. Can I buy them somewhere, or is it something you do yourself? Not really looking for headlight covers, and I know VHT nightshade on headlights is illegal, any help would be appreciated!
