So is that just a GM one off show vehicle then? I was hoping someone was looking into making this.

Exactly. Front and rear bumpers rock, I'd love the center exit exhaust. Spoiler is alot better than the stock SS one too.

What do you guys think of this one:

I think its the first wide kit, expensive as hell but I like it. Where do the fogs go?

I actually love this kit, though it requires custom molding and has an initial cost of around 1700$....not including the need for a shop to do the molding/painting/install labor....

Shipping was $100 to my house so your looking at about 1800 to get it. I then got a quote of about another $2000 to install. So your looking at almost $4,000 to get this. It was temping for me but I would feel bad giving that kinda of cash for just a kit.

That $4,000 is enough to buy just about every performance upgrade that's supposed to hit the market in the near future. And with the $4,000 spent on the kit, you lose your fog lights and get no performance enhancement. Personally, I can't stand having a car without fog lights. Think you made a wise decision passing on the price tag.

That body kit is lighter then the stock one. you would be gaining performance buy weight savings. just cost alot to save that much weight

Yeh, purchasing an 1800$ body kit is at the bottom of my list at this point. I plan to invest in rebuilding internal components of the engine for a stage 3 turbo system by the end of the year (if they get them out on the market soon enough).

on the chevy 272 concept cobalt the scoop looks better in real life. actually as good as the car looks in pictures, it looks so much better in person. also, the reason the scoop is offset like that is cuz it feeds directly into the supercharger like a ram air set up. i'd take it.

I would have to agree that the 272 concept is the best looking cobalt I've seen. I just wish that kit was available!

17 vs. 18s

I want something to fill the wheel wells, but what would be the best choice for optimum performance on an 05 baseline. my goal is 250 bhp w/ a stg2 vortech s/c kit.

Ok I know the flaming will proceed but this is what the drifter 2 looks like on my car. Also just custom painted my headlights. They appear black, but shine the same color as the car. It is hard to explain, but it is a color changing effect like the khameleon paints.

And just so you guys who hate the look don't have to post all the flaming I will flame myself for you in a lil song I just thought up.

All the cobalts hate it, purple cobalt made it, its so riiiicey. so riiiiiicey...

Before headlights...

and after...

i like the hood but not my favorite kit because of the gigantic holes in it. I like the razzi kit personally.

Yeah, the holes are way to big, plus I dont want to lose my fogs. I still think the stock ss/sc kit is the best.

Has anyone seen this kit? I didn't know this kit was for sale, thought it was a GM show kit or something.

If JBP performance is saying they have that kit for sale.. Then I will be making a purchase very soon.. Cause this is the only kit that I like out there.. It just requires moving the exhuast as well..
