so i ordered my 30k hids today and i was wondering if anyone has them on their cobalt? if not i will get pics once i get them installed

Yes they can, you just have to know how to expose them

 

thats an excuse people use to explain why their headlight pictures look like chernobyl.

properly done HIDs show up just fine in pictures.

99.9% of cameras cant properly display HIDs because the photographer doesn't know how to properly use the camera

 

after readin n seeing pictures on true retrofits with hids, i now understand an0malous,
i bought TL projectors w/zkw clear lens to do my retrofit!!

here is the link to the forum i was on. look for the oic of the lexus. it says 12k but they are 30k

 

damn look at that glare.. stupid kids. but anyways.. you guys act like he wont be able to see anything.. granted 4300k is at least twice as bright but hids are still twice as bright than halogen bulbs. if you live in the city, theres nothing to worry about. but i def wouldnt use them to drive in the country lol. heres what i had before i traded my car in:

yes the output is alot worse than 4300k but i was going for color and i live in the city.

 

The only issue is people using Automatic white balance modes on there camera when trying to get a "true color" picture

 

30k is a little excesive if u ask me.

i have 4300 K in my STOCK housings ( you read that correct an0malous, my stock housings) and they are great. I have yet to be flashed yet, and Iv had them on for over a month.

but 30k. lol i thought higher the number the less output. and if 9K hids are bad i could only imagine having 30 K

 

can one of yall go to the other forums and post the picture of the lexus?

even if i can see i got the luminics jdm yellow in the fogs aimed up all the way and i like to drive with them on insted of the headlights.
