I'm glad your done because honestly every time you post you sound slightly more foolish and immature. Your reasoning is that of a drug addict who says "my coke addiction doesn't hurt anyone but me so leave me alone" when reality it does. Quite frankly you sound more like a 16 year old who justifies his bad behavior by citing more bad behavior "everyone else has them so why can't I?" So you really should stop posting in this thread because you just make yourself look bad.

I run my ballasts off their own 40 amp relays with 25 amp fuses before the relay and 15 amp between the relay and the ballast in contrast . All I use the stock headlight wire for is to trigger the relay .

I would make sure on the size of the projector in the aftermarket light . They appear to be 2.5" lens . A GREAT 2.5 lens projector is a the Acura TSX and S2000 . Its not a bi-xenon , I assuming youll be retaining the high beam of the aftermarket light . Good thing though , the non-bi-xenon projector housing are much cheaper . IT should be a fairly straight forward swap .
And that is the thing I was looking for because I was unsure of the size of the actual projector lense. I know it isn't going to be cheap but I was gonna wander around a junkyard or something and see if I can't find some that are unharmed and get those for the swap to avoid paying a lot of money. lol. And with those lenses am I able to run Bi-Xenons in them? Talking something like the S2000 lenses. What I am looking for is a sharp cutoff and light output. And the projectors I have have a crappy cutoff line and so so light output.

Thanks for your info as well as an0malous and Omega 5.

I would lurch around ebay , the prices are about average and theirs always sumthing on there . Most junkyards Ive tried to deal with are wise to the HID thing . Its hard to get a light with the ballast and bulb because alot of them sell them separately . Check ebay.co.uk too . ITs hard to find people that will ship to the USA , but the prices were cheaper . I got both my Astra bi-Xenon headlights complete , with ballast , active forward lighting frames and computer , bulbs and wiring attached to the headlight still for 65 british pounds , which worked out to about $135 US funds , nother 40 bux to ship ....ching ching ching

U should be able to eyeball the projector holding a measuring tape on the lens . And yes u could run a bi-xenon projector . The S2000 isnt a bi-xenon projector though , its the same projector as the TSX which is a just a low beam and those cars use a traditional high beam reflector . I know theres more , but the only 2.5 bi-xenon I know of personally is from the E46 BMW 3 series . An0malous and Omega 5 can comment on the FX45 , I "think" that one is 2.5 too . 350z , FX35 , porshe cayan(sp?) use the FX45 projector too .

Cool, thanks again. And yea, I kinda figured they were wise to it but I still wanted to try...Doesn't hurt to anyway. I know they sell the Porsche projectors on HIDplanet and those are like $300. But thanks again for the info, I will look around and see what I can find.

just for comparison purposes...cuz the pics posted on here are ridiculously exaggerated...

exaggeration

reality

yes there is SOME glare...but no where near as bad as the first picture suggests...u can actually SEE my car...not a wall of blinding light...also the halogens in the PROJECTOR fog lights glare too....hmm

in case u cant tell from that pic heres one of just the fogs

in fact all the lights are glaring a little bit which is why u cant judge light output from a CAMERA

and as for the so called "hot spot" issues...i dont have them...
for example...

thats a pretty nice even spread of lights...notice on the small tree to the right how the light doesnt go much higher than a couple feet off the ground

heres another pic against some stuff in my driveway...my house is being renovated so excuse the mess

other than some reflection off the glossy metal surfaces...doesnt look too bad either

yeah theres "glare" but in all honesty like ive been saying all along...its not horrifically blinding that it would cause some poor soul to put himself in a ditch cuz ive blinded the **** out of him...that first pic tho is overexaggerated to the point of insanity

... how do you over exaggerate light?
Your not getting the same true affect, because your camera is out of the main beam pattern.
Put your camera in the path of the light, then lets see how you do...

What I find funny, is the fact that your still hell bent on the idea that they aren't glaring....
It's like looking at the sky, saying it's blue... and you come in and say it's red... WTF?!?

Obviously you are too immature to accept the fact you have a crap-tastic lighting system in your now... so until the day you can actually grow up....

When did he say there is no glare? I see a post where he says there is glare and then shows pictures that illustrate that his glare isnt terrible.

With with respect to your comment "then shows pictures that illustrate that his glare isnt terrible" is the exact point I'm trying to make...
The is not such thing as 'isn't terrible'.... glare is glare...
Saying that you have a bit of glare is like a girl saying she's a bit pregnant... either it is, or it isn't...

while I do agree that some of the pictures posted here do show glare are on the extreme end...even this picture gets the point across.

look at how the entire housing in this picture is lit up

that is still rediculously bright even without being directly in the focal point of the light.

in the end its really your choice to do what you please, the information is there for you to research and form your own opinion.

The one that's not glaring?
Click the blue link in my sig.... Read the article and follow the links.
Also, do a search for 'retrofit'.
And finally, check out HIDPlanet.

^^^ the car on the right.. in your first pic... the lights arent aimed correctly and its also different because of where the picture was taken from....

plus its really blurry and not focused so we cant compare the other car in the pic
