There is no problem with HIDS if they are aimed properly... thats the main point here honestly...

The is not such thing as 'isn't terrible'.... glare is glare...
Saying that you have a bit of glare is like a girl saying she's a bit pregnant... either it is, or it isn't...
I understand what you mean, but even yesterday I was blinded by a BMW who had projector lenses. For a few seconds all I saw was light. I have projectors to help with glare, but all light produces glare, it just happens. Just compare the pictures mikey has in his post. His car has an equal amount of glare as the car on the left in the example picture, the one that is supposed to be an example of what "no glare" looks like.

WRONG!!!

The glare we are referring to is the uncontrolled light being emitted from a certain housing. All lights do produce an intense light within the beam, but not all give off random glare.

You can argue all day that halogen reflectors don't glare... but truth be told... they do, as HID kits aren't designed for those housings. If it was an HID specific housing we wouldn't be having this conversation, as those housings have controls in place to stop glare.

Before you reply to this... please read the thread in my sig... it will save you from looking stupid later.

I swear... this thread is 3 posts away from becoming the definition of FAIL!!!

Mike, put a stock halogen bulb back in one of the housings and get a comparison pic of side by side, that will debunk this arguement

i havent said once that they dont glare...they do...no ****...but its not to the point where its causing a major problem for other people on the road...or else i think (as stupid as you think i may be) i would have noticed by now

too much effort...

maybe if my bro comes home from school ill put them side by side but really all im saying is that its not as bad as an0lomous and omega are trying to convince everyone based on the pics that have been posted...

plus only 1 of those pics are of a cobalt/g5 (the ridiculously exaggerated one an0lomous posted close to the beginning)...reflectors are diff designs from car to car and as a result the glare and appearance of the light will look different as well

Once again (why do I feel as though I'm repeating my self here?)... glare is glare...
There is not such thing as ' a bit of glare'...
It seems to me that your under the impression that at some point the uncontrolled light coming out of the housing dims and is no longer harmful or dangerous to another drivers...

Wake up dude... your being a childish whiny kid...
I'm not even going to grace you with another response... if your going to be that headstrong and immature... so be it.

All I'll leave you with is another request that you read the HID thread in my sig. If your too cool to even do that, then I understand how stupid you really are.

You confuse the **** out of me. I never said halogen reflectors dont glare, ****, I said they do glare and I think all cars should come with projectors. Then I also said projectors have glare too. Its true, I have been blinded by both projector and reflector headlights. Why the hell are you arguing with me? Im saying there is glare from both, Im saying the glare Im seeing from mikeys car is not nearly as bad as the glare in the other picture, it is about equivalent to the glare given off from the car on the left. I never looked stupid, you look stupid for trying to explain something to me that I already know. Quit acting like a know-it-all, the only people denying glare are the ones trying to say that there is glare. Everyone else has said that the lights produce glare, you just keep acting like we said there was no glare so you can be a know-it-all and police the site.

i read it...i agree with it...said that like 10 times already...

my glare isnt the same as the glare in the pic that was posted...if u cant see that then have ur eyes checked out...its like saying rain is rain...of course it is...just cuz it has the same name doesnt mean it has the same effect...either its raining a little bit or its a torrential downpour...the glare from my lights isnt dangerous and has not caused any problems...

i honestly dont care if u respond or not...ur too thick skulled sitting on ur projector perch being a drama queen to even read anything being said on here

since this thread started ive put my car in every possible situation to see if it was blinding...and aside from the usual places (ie. coming over a hill) it hasnt been "uncontrolled"

10 pages FTW!!

Well before everyone gets all high and mighty on me remember, I am in no way trying to say that one way of doing your lights is better than the other, Im just saying that I see glare in all types of light, and there is no reason for people to parent the others on this site and tell them how to modify their cars.

im not missing the fact that the left pic is a crap shot...

however the angles are almost the same and the height is close...the projector shot might be a little higher than mine but shouldn't that make the projectors look better cuz of the cutoff??

there i said it loud and clear for those of you that missed it the first 4 times

but its not something i can nor want to do at this point (priorities people)
