Aftermarket Fogs + 3000k DDM on my LT:)

Finally got them installed...still have to get them aimed but then they're done.
They look good from 5 ft but I'm not quite happy with close up so if anyone has ideas of how to integrate them better then I'm all ears.

Could you make the hole a little bigger and let the projector sit in the hole more? Looks good, cool to see projector fogs retrofitted into that bumper like that.

Could but I didn't want to have the lense sticking out too far...I thought about painting the front of the housing vic red.

You need some sort of bezel so it's not a straight cut hole. I don't know what that bezel would be, but there's gotta be something out there.

I agree. Maybe something like a projector shroud but in reverse so it sits inside the bumper like stock does? Kinda like sitting in the bottom of a bowl.

Try the black pinch molding that people use on the edge of their doors, might require heat for a sharp radius though.

some night shots. still not aimed yet.

cutoff at about 25ft...you can see it on the fence to the right as well. it's a little deceiving because the lights at my apartment complex are yellow so it's more defined than it looks.

thanks man...hole saw and painter's tape. that was the easy part. hard part was putting the hole in the bumper support. would have been easier but i didn't want to take the bumper off.

am i the only one noticing his hole for the drivers side is a good half inch higher on the bumper than the passenger?

the concept is GREAT! in combo with a bezel.....that'd look like what the factory shoulda done.

No they're the same, it's the camera angle. If you look at where the top and bottom of the holes line up on the bumper it's the same.

mmm look again? use the accent waves on each side as a guide....drivers side definitely cut a lil higher.

i'm probably gonna do this mod once i get lowered. thanks for the proof of concept.

They aren't perfect but its only 1/8th of an inch off or so...the driver's side is in further than the other. I must have held the drill at a slightly different angle because the center was perfect. It's not far enough off that it bothers me. You have to really look to notice.

Looks good from a far, up close i agree with you though. You should try to fit them into the holes a bit better. But they look great at night.

I'm thinking I might just end up doing some rubber trim...try to paint it red and paint the front of the fog light housing red as well...see how it looks.
