Best OEM replacement headlights for retrofit.

Best OEM replacement headlights for retrofit.
The headlights that were used on my first retrofit had the absolutely worst fit on my car. Large gap between the lens and hood as well as some gaps between where the headlight lens meets the quarter panel and bumper. Im going to give it another shot with new lights but wanted input from others that have bought new headlights for their retrofits. If any of you have bought lights that were a perfect fit, where did you buy them from? Any help appreciated!
Thanks

according to riceburner, he gets ebay headlights for retrofits and says even the same buyers have no consistency in what brand they are selling, and that he hasnt had any issues with any of the ones he bought.
i grabbed a set from ebay last week for my retrofit, they showed up today. they are made by vision headlights. they seem decent so far.

EDIT: So apparently there is a difference between base model headlights and SS headlights??

Yeah theres some differences; the REAL oem ss headlights are lightly tinted same thing with the reflectors stated above. As far as eBay goes there no difference really. Most fit great.

i havent fit mine yet, i pulled them out of the box, disassembled them and tossed them in the oven. had them baked apart within 15 minutes of the fedex guy dropping them off.
the headlights i got are tinted ss reproduction lights without the orange lense.

Hmm that's weird mine fit good I need to realign my passenger headlight tho but with the painting the car and all the stuff my headlights and bumper aren't in the best spot just haven't had time to fix it but they fit good when I first put them in

Mine have like a full inch gap between the lens and the hood, and the corner where the bumper/quarter panel meet don't fit right either....its awful honestly and looks like ****.
I spent $500 on headlights and have had more issues with them than anything else I've ever installed on the car. Now I am having to spend another 3-400 to make brand new ones with new bulbs, projectors, halos etc and and going to end up trashing the old set.
