Or sell your old ones. See if you can borrow a set of stock ones just to try for fitment before you waste your money and find out it's actually the bumper sagging or something.

 

Stock headlights often don't fit correctly either
Don't think it's usually the headlights that don't fill the gap so much as other factors causing it not to line up,

 

Im replacing everything instead of swapping everything into a new headlight because the mini h1's I received (3.0) I believe, are pieces of ****. the passenger side one has a hot spot that is aimed into the shield, and does not produce a even cutoff. And both the lights make road side signs flicker really bad no matter how hard I tighten down the lock nut. I wish I would have been more informed about the different types of projectors when I made the decision to purchase retros, but you live and learn.

Also the XC halos don't have a consistent output, if you look close enough you can see them getting brighter and darker every millisecond or so.

 

Don't forget to mention that same hotspot was created by 2 completely different projectors on the same spot.
In reality I think your best bet is just to buy new lights. I know we been texting constantly back and forth. Your downfall was the halos. Forever will be the biggest reason it turned into a **** show

 

Oh yeah I forgot about the projector swap. I wouldn't be surprised if the xb35 bulbs were misshapen. TRS clearly doesn't do much testing on their products, hence why they release something new every week it seems like.

 

Oh yeah lmao. I remember talking with you about the XB bulbs being an issue and then 2 days later they had a solution. Goodness that was a bad coincidence

 

What was their solution? Probably "The best way to fix this issue is to buy our brand new xb35 2.0's for only $75!!!, also no we will not warranty/replace the defective bulbs we sent you".

 

Remember the bulb holders??? They were different and allowed the bulbs to seat better and then ur XB bulbs sucked

 

Yeah that helped a little, but still not perfect.

On the other hand, I drilled new holes for the 4 plastic push pins that hold the bumper up between the headlights and that seemed to fix the gap between the headlights and bumper. However, it still leaves me with about half an inch of gap on each side between the lights and the hood.

 

Looking at mine yesterday it doesn't look as bad as rice gap haha

 

I looked at my ss, then the ls, back and the ss, and back to the ls. Still not sure why the ls don't fit lol. Its not the headlights imo. its the crash bar and bumper I think. but I cant figure out how to adjust it to fit better I swapped lights to be sure and the foggy ls lights line up nice in the ss, and the ss lights look a mess in the ls.

 

My opinion is that its a combination between the bumper not fitting correctly, and once you start throwing extra wiring, ballasts, control boxes etc down there it causes the black mounting bracket to not fit correctly. Or it could just be shitty fitting headlights, who knows.

Also I found that if you twist down the big rubber bushings that are a few inches above the headlights, and remove the 2 smaller rubber bushings on the bumper to the left and right of the chevy emblem you can reduce the gap between the headlights and hood a little bit. It still didn't make it perfect for me though.
