Unhappy best seat options?

so i have recaros and i love them but the driver's seat has a tear in the bottom and the
leather on the side is cracked.

i asked an upholstery shop and they said they could sew the fabric up so it wouldnt tear
anymore but it would still be very noticeable

since gm wants $700 for just the bottom COVER! and none of the junk
yards around here have any, what seats should i get?

i live in kingstree, sc (29556) if anyone has recaros for sale that are within a reasonable
drive.....

Find the fabric that matches the seats, take to an upholstery shop and ask them to make it for you.

If they can find the right fabric I'm sure they could. I could do it at my own house with the right stuff.

I don't know what they are made of, but usually upholstery shops or fabric stores that carry heavier fabric.

Could always try to go to the source and see what they can do for you.

done that. they told me to check with my local dealer. so i went to work the next day and
got a price on the bottom cover...$700 list and $400 with my employee discount.

even though i worked at a dealer i still couldnt see spending that much on just a seat cover
lol.

$400 is about the price of cheap aftermarket covers for both seats.

Not too much actually.
