get like a 600 grit, wetsand it down to the paint and vht. then take paint thinner and rub it on, but be careful and it should wipe off. then youll be left with the stock plastic lense. wash them, and start the process. if you dont wanna do the paint thinner, just sand it all the way down. with my tails, when the sun is shining on them they are a dark dark red, and when its cloudy they are black. i love them

Looks good. I now know how big the darn air silencer is. Lol. Did you happen to take that off while you were working on it? I know it's not in your list, but just curious. Is the duct tape on the air box a new mod too?

the duct tape adds 50 hp didnt you know the crash cracked it above the filter, so i put that on to keep the dirt out. i might grab another stock airbox, or just a cai. i would like the cai, but i dont know if my dad would like it. but that silencer is HUGE! if i get a cai, it will obviously go, but if not, then its staying

i cant detail the new parts, they didnt even get touched with anything. if a buffed them, even wiped them with a rag, it would close the paints pores and cause it the bubble and fail. so for 2 weeks, i cannot even chamois my car dry on the new parts. but like ive said before, it isnt noticable from a distance, only close up

They won't pay for my car because I don't have full coverage. If I had collision, they would have. But I didn't Shibito. I sprayed it down a week ago so it is still pretty clean

Dude!
That looks great!!
About time huh!?
Small correction though;
Typically metallic paints will have a slightly different tint depending on the conditions in which they're painted;
It has noting to do with the paint mix being off, or fading being evident on the older panels - it's purely becasue the metal flake settled slightly different between your factory paint and the freshly painted panels solely because of the different conditions in which they were painted...
It's for this reason that generally when a car with metallic paint has side panels replaced, the rest of the sides will typically get blended, and re-cleared.
or at least this is how it was explained to me by painters...
