worked on molds a little more last nite. had to wax them up some more and possibly getting introduced to some CF today/tonite

 

first mirror is in the mold and al vacuumed up. saving pics of that for when it comes out. but here's some updated ones of me waxing the mold and the CF sheet cut to size

Hope they turn out good. We gotta pick up a second pump so we can vacuum both caps at same time. Right now its 1 at a time

yea sorry. i use this site to host photos. if u click on pics it should take u to my gallery and give a lil bigger pic at least. these first ones r a prototype as the 1 side didn't come out right but the other side isn't bad. we just ordered a bunch more carbon fiber as we r almost out. so will keep u guys posted but wanna get a few sets out of the mold before we disclose price and start releasing these

and also how are we planning on mounting these??? 3M tape?

Were doin the test fitting this evenin. Too dark last nite by the time we got these out of mold. As far as attaching them, silicone adhesive is wut we r leaning towards but feel free to use wutever style adhesive u want

 

It's still gonna b a lil bit yet as we r pretty much out of material but have more on order. Just waiting for it to come in

 

is there a way you could possibly get silver CF? just wondering

 

I did c other colors when we were shoppin for more material. I don't remember seeing silver though. Yellow red and blue were the ones I remember seeing. To b honest though I wouldn't pick up the extra material just for 1 set. If enough people wanted it then I would consider it
