I like the lines and the start of the cowl on that hood above. I also think it's a good width. My only complaint is that I'm afraid the cowl will get lost with the lines of the car. I think if it was an inch or so taller, it would really look aggressive.
I also think the evo style hood looks nice..but I'm not sure on a car other than evo. I mean, if I wanted an evo, I'd go buy an evo. Not make my cobalt look like an evo. Cobra style hood wouldn't look bad, but like the evo hood, those are made primarily for heat dissipation off the engine. Also, they have intricate rain channels to divert water that slides in from the hood. If it's raining though, the water goes straight through the mesh, and on the engine.

Well everyone is entitled to their opinion. We're here to decide what I should send the company for them to look at. Also, USMC, do you have overheating problems? Have you tried air divertors behind your front mount? Also, a higher psi radiator cap keeps more coolant in the engine. I can ask them about forming other molds for other style hoods.

if you'll take the 2 gen cowl hood from the 94-04 s-10 and use that on the balt it would look good.. there was one posted on here before from an ebay listing that some guy custom made for his balt and it looked really good.. and if one is gonna be made i would rather it be steel or carbon fiber.. no fiber glass... this is the one im talkin bout usin..

I contacted them, and apparently they are thinking it over now. I included the top 3 pictures, and stated the preferred hood would be a cross between 1 and 3.
