i am going t fix it though.
it does not come down perfectly straight and the little area where it comes down leaves that little corner open creating a weird shadow and is driving me nuts!
i agree, going to touch up today. i just needed facts.
the corners are driving me nuts, i got some over spray near the grill and my lines were not straight. im gona fix it cause up close you can see it. from far, looks great.
im **** so im off to take care of it.

i have tried everything.
i think i have to sand down and do over.
you cant see from the pic but there are many swirls in the paint below the clear.
i was dumb and lite sanded the VHT.
i cannot get the swirls out which is probably what is creating the dull effect. (not smooth and not reflecting light properly)
im gona beat my head on the wall over those damn lights!

Here is mine, I did this about 3 weeks ago with rattle can. The paint started to chip easily with rocks, so me and my buddy went at it professionally this time. We stripped all paint from the front bumper and did the grilles too. I'm VERY impressed with how this came out. I didn't put on my black headlights on this pictures bc they rub the bumper more than my stockers. See my picture gallery for the black headlight look.
I also chnged the rear of the Chevy emblem to red so it didn't blend in as much.
Let me know what you think ....

my buddy paints cars for a living. We did it at his shop. I'll upload some pics of what we were doing ... I paid him for parts plus some extra $$ $150 bucks maybe ... Every line of where black meets red blends PERFECTLY. It looks like it's the factory paint job. 4 coats of clear too! Now rock chips won't be as bad!
