I get that. I wanted to know if there was a pic that best described "the duck bill" you were referring to.

I figured it would have been a ~$500 trunk. At least I thought that's what they went for for the coupes. Goes to show how up to date I am on carbon fiber.

Edit: Didn't take into consideration the lip. Gonna look at finances next week during payday and let you know.

And if it doesn't go into production? I'm more than willing to throw down cash to get such a unique trunk.

We are trying to help out the sedan community and if it fails then I won't be able to help with another sedan group buy trunk.

Dont understand why people would want to change the trunk lid for a spoiler, I have one of these I got custom made sitting at the house that Im going to sell, I paid $88 shipped, it was supposed to be a rear window spoiler/lip, but it got sent to me 46" which I BELIEVE is the length that the rear lip should be, I laid it out on my trunk and it looked like it would be perfect, its about 2-3 times larger than the regular $33 ebay M3 style lip spoiler ill make a thread on it tonight, im just waiting to make sure the guy doesnt want it back once he sends me a new one.

But like I said, $88 painted..... I bet 10+ people would rather do that than have a whole trunk built.

This is a crappy pic of me showing how it didnt fit the back window, not sure how well you can see it, I got it gloss black because im doing my roof gloss black.

Awesome way to jump on a thread and sell your spoiler on a interest thread that has gone back a long time. If you don't like the idea simple thing would have been just to hit the back button.

We're more interested in the fact that we finally get a Carbon Fiber trunk which is unheard of for the sedans. The added lip is just a bonus. Being unique is what a lot of us want.
