more then likely not seeing as hes in school.....
for your wheels sand them down and get rid of the orange peel otherwise it will more then likely still be there. idk about your paintline but on the standox system we dont reduce the primer at all. what i recommend is to reduce the primer some or shoot some sealer ove the primer. do either or from a 1.4 1.5 gun.

I could take the glass out but I dont think i will, i dont see me getting any better of a paint job with it out, im gonna have to take it out to get the weather stripping back in however, i just wanted to leave it in so it will make it easier to tape up in the booth with the glass in there to tape up instead of having to try and hang it. Remember the jambs and car will be done at 2 seperate times.
And yea thats why im gonna wet sand them to get rid of that orange pearl and coarseness thats in them now, i know im gonna hit tons of metal doing this. i do reduce the primer. It says not too but i also find it lays down SOO much nicer when im not looking for a huge build up. Im not looking for build on the rims, just something to lay down nice and cover metal so paint can stick to it. so i figure some reduced primer with a higer air pressure and i should be allright for scuffing and basecoat after that

hell if your just going to hit a bunch of bare metal and theres no filler dont worry about the primer. shoot some 1k etching primer which should lay down smooth and blow some sealer over them. higher air pressure(25-27psi) and a bit less material should do the trick. sand any big nibs in the sealer and then base over. sand the base with like 1000 or 1200 in the areas you need to and clear over it. try to get your wheels done in a day. also remember when your masking taking out the quarter glass will make the difference in the paint job since it rests pretty tight to the metal. the windshield and the rear glass shuold have to come out just be sure to scuff the crevices really good. i say the quarter glass only because your laying a lot of material down. it would suck to get a line with the candys and such.

under the hood done hopefully interior pieces and maybe rims tommorow. but probobly rims friday and spoiler will be final primed (again), hit under the hood with black and clear, and sand and prime rims for final scuffing and hit them friday. Oh and calipers will be done with wheels as well
thought about it but i wasnt sure if the strut would **** up or not and then i was like **** it ill never remove them anyways lol. but not a huge deal anyways
i sprayed the first coat with a full size Sata RP gun, and it was almost IMPOSSIBLE to get in nooks and crannies with that huge ass cup on it, so i got a Sata Minijet and holy **** that gun is amazing. Couldnt have gotten what I did without it. Ony 2nd time that gun as ever been sprayed lol

OH, and the black trim piece on the roof, that runs down the channels on the 2 sides, i believe its held down with double sided tape, should i remove that or just tape it up? and if you remove it will you need to buy a new piece cause it will be bent to **** removing it?

if it where me i would remove it..... i havent had the run channel moldings out on my car but i think they are clipped in....most cars are and they are a HUGE pain in the ass to get out. also i would use the blue 3m tape that has like one hard side to get between the body and the weatherstrip and the otherside sticky to pull the weatherstrip back. i forget what its called. you'll need the biggest size for the front and rear glass and probablly the 10mm size for the quarter glass.

also if some1 has an extra set of tail lights let me know. both light on the right side of my car has the tail light tint fucked up so i have to sand them all down and its gonna be a pain in the ass and i dont think i have a chemical remover that will take it off without damaging the plastic. So if i can get another set and just scuff up and paint it would be magical
