lmao Im waiting for some1 to do a pearl white cobalt, but instead of like a normal pearl white thats white with silver pearl in midcoat, do it white with blue pearl in the midcoat, or flake even. I think that would be sweet. Have like an Ice theme. I would like to see some1 do that. but since i sprayed this i have so many people who want me to paint **** and i dont have a booth to spray it in! im sure if i bought one it would pay for itself real quick

I don't think the materials are much more than $300, give or take.

It's the time that kills. All the prep work, and the spray time, masking etc.

Correct me if i'm wrong Kevin, but this would be like a $5-7k paint job. Or more.

Well, I was confident it was gonna look good, but dang! Congrats buddy. Not only did you have enough vision and taste to pull off a very unique, but very awesome color, but you did it yourself. That's something that not many people can say. Spraying candy well is one of the holy grails of paint work, and you pulled it off on your rookie attempt! Very, very impressed. This car will be an absolute KILLER when it's all back together.

^yea about that. the prep work is where they get ya. Cause it takes awhile, and alot of attention to every detail. All dissasembly of the car, then all reassembly. Not including the custom fiberglass spoiler that was 3 weeks straight working on. And all the interior pieces, engine bay, headlight eye-lids, rims, calipers, grills, all that bullshit they would have raped on. And materials wound up costing me 500-600. Probobly inbetween those 2 numbers leaning on the right end of the spectrum. But I could have gone cheaper if I had gotten cheaper clearcoat, but I wanted something a bit better.

And heres the original photoshop i did b4 i decided to paint, I think I can succesfully say it came out even better then I planned

man small contoured surfaced like tail lights and motorcycle parts and **** are so easy to get to look like a mirror when you spray it with a real gun and clear and not rattlecan.
