Id go with TWM if you can, they have a great shifter. I got my B&M for free since i used to spend my weekends working on Marines cars installing intakes and charge piping and sportlines and painting interiors for free and the nice ones hook me up and make it worth my while

I'm a detail fan. Little accents make a car. However, the xm antenna is black, so it doesn't really matter haha.

john powell hooked me up with a b&m. its on its way. got it for dirrrrrt cheap. i honestly still cant justify spending the money on the twm. it doesnt feel that much different from stock and the throws arent much shorter at all.

 

Car came out VERY well. Any plans to put a clear bra on to protect the candy??

 

Truth, but I mean out of all of the shifters I would say it is the best. So much better it should be so expensive? no. The SS/TC already has a pretty decent throw stock compared to the SS/SC. But good deal on the B&M

 

personally i dont think the twm should be that expensive. it is nice.....just pisses me off that they wont match the verse lock out to the black knob. im going to throw the b&m in with base bushings though.

 

you didnt get the aluminam bushings with it?

 

who knows lol. i havent gotten it yet. john just said he had one on the shelf so idk if im getting base bushings or what lol.

 

i dont really think they matter either honestly lol. I dunno. All i know is as short as my shifter is, it still never compares to a VW shifter i felt once. That **** was SMOOTH. it was like butter going through the gears. Felt like it wanted to almost do it for you.

Yea i wanna get the front bumper wrapped, but i just gotta touch up a spot on it, and its gonna get recleared this summer so after that ill get one put on it

dude nothing ive shifted compared to the custom mgw i had in the camaro. 75% throw reduction and couldnt be any smoother
