Got hit in parking lot, need help removing scratches

I was WalMart earlier today and parked where I always do, waaaaaaaay back away from the majority of people to prevent door dings and what-not. I do this w/ every car i have, even the Lancer which is stock appearing. I just hate stupid people that open their doors wide and hit other cars. Well I came out from my shopping I had to do and came home. When I got home I was planning on washing my SS/SC, and that's when I came across the scatch in my rear bumper . There is a nice scrape/gouge by the left side of the license plate opening and an impression of a srew/bolt right below the license plate opening. I know it happened at WalMart because it was not there when I parked last night and took out my groceries. And I know what car did it too......ther was an riced out older taurus paked behind my car (had the works, fartcan, aluminum airplane sized wing, self sone tint w/ bubbles, painted flatblack, and spinner hubcaps) Unfortunately when I went back to walMart that car was gone. So.....any ideas how to alvage my bumper w/o needing to replace it or atleast take it to a shop and spending booku bucks? I am so pissed right now. After all the babying I do to this car that some lil **** like this happens and I have a car show to go to in 2weeks.

If it's actually gouged down into the plastic, then there's nothing you can do except replace it unless there's a way to fill it, sand it, and replace it.

I hate ******** like that, it's too bad you couldn't have caught the car and then made his insurance pay for it.

you should ask the place you were at if you could see the survelince cameras or possibly other business's round where you were at . Ex. bank/ gas station.

I'm taking her into the dealer tomorrow for intake tubing to be replaced, my bolt on the front was digging into it. I covered it w/ a rubber stopper, but I still want my intake tube replaced. While I'm there, I'm gonna have them do an estimate

I think the first problem in this situation is that you were at wal-mart, I won't say any more

Are you trying to say something by saying that? Not everyone goes to AE, Aeropostale, AberCrombie......And walMart happens to be in a plaza I shop at for my gaming needs. Park there and you can go to either end of the plaza w/o difficulty

Sorry to hear about your bumper Wicked, same thing happened to me,i only had the car 4 days at the time, but anyhow if the scratches are down to the plastic they are gonna have to sand the whole bumper and repaint it to make it look right again,or else your gonna see the overspray in time ,had mine done and it cost me $375 cdn,got a lifetime warranty on the paint with it and they did a great job, hope all goes well for ya.............
