Yessir. TWM sts, cable clamp and bushings

The knob is also made from a copolymer that resists heat and cold.

My favorite part about it is that there is only one.

Here's the story:

I lurk Nasioc.com because I have friends there and I used to have an '06 STI and '08 WRX. There's a vendor over there that hand makes custom shift knobs. I had him make one for both of my subies.

So anyway, I was looking at his thread and saw this:

I thought it would look with my red/black interior. The only thing I didn't like was the font used on the shift pattern. I wanted the same font used on the Audi R8 (and other cars):

So I contacted the guy. I sent him pics of the M1 Abrams knob with a micrometer measuring different spots. I also put together this diagram:

Since the guy isn't a vendor on here, I won't give his name or a link or anything.

I had a different sig. Then a mod changed my sig to "i like the dick." (I'm not all that well liked around here. LOL) So I kept the "i like the dick" text but put the .gif under it. They seemed to go together well. Then I removed the text.

If you don't recognize it, it's from the ultimate turbo steamroller video.... it started in 2009. I forgot the original name but in case you're not familiar with what I'm talking about, here it is under another name. Someone put together this video and it is actually supposed to be a race down the Initial D mountain.

So anyway, I did some reading. Turns out that this guy Billy Harrington was in **** and B movies or something. Then me made a kind of gay softcore **** video where he and this other guy wrestle in a locker room and it was called ultimate muscle workout 3. It was a huge hit in Japan but kind of in a "tongue in cheek" sort of way. Clips and images from that video became the funny bait and switch for interweb links. You think you're clicking on a link for a news story or whatever and then you see Billy in a jock strap. We had Rick Rolling and Japan had Billy Harrington.

Here is a clip from the "workout" video. If you listen to the sound samples in this little clip you'll notice that a lot of them were used/manipulated in the original steamroller vid.

Yes, I have no life. No, I'm not gay. At least I don't think so.

Sweet. Yeah, this is my fourth knob from him now. He has the STI knobs down to a science so anything you can imagine he can do.

What year STI, mods, pics, etc. on your STI??? If you have a link to a build thread or something lemme know.

I miss mine. I had an 06 STI. Silver Gray Metallic. Spent a buttload getting it to 340whp LOL. FP Green turbo, full bolt ons, etc. Custom Work Emotion XD-9s powdercoated white. Tons of other mods. Then I blew the engine because of a bad Deatscherks injector that stuck open and got rid of it.

Only pic I have:

I ordered a 2013 STi sedan in satin white pearl. Should be here in October and I'm already buying parts for it lol. I'm trying to sell my 09 SS now but if no one buys it it's getting traded in. I'll send you a link to it when I get it. I was going between the Lathe Werks and Flossy shift knobs. Both had great reviews but decided to go with Werks because he can match the reverse lockout and SI drive knob.

Your STi looked good. Always liked the older models. I almost went with the dark grey metallic color but after owning the black SS I'm never going through that again with dark colored paints

Satin White Pearl is the best color IMO. You did good. Can't wait to see it. You're gonna love it.
