People seem to think I'm smoking crack when it comes to the demensions of the Autometer gauges, so here is the spec from the book...
Yes, the diameter of the hole is 2 1/16", but the diameter of the mounted bezel is 2 1/4". It doesn't get any smaller, sorry. I'm already only giving myself 2" of rear clearance when the above recommendation is 3"
I don't want to take the vents out. I like my air conditioner. This is a street car, not a drag-only racer.
I just got my fiberglassing materials today. I'll lay it up tomorrow.

I was lying in bed falling asleep last night when I got a new idea. Then I was awakened this morning by my boss saying he had a pop-up trip I needed to get in to work as soon as possible. So I won't get to build it today. Maybe tomorrow...
