Question HD wheels or Drifz wheels: HELP ME DECIDE!

As the title says, I'm purchasing wheels at the end of this month from my club's sponsor and I'm having trouble deciding on which set. Lug pattern isn't an issue because I have the hook-up to have them custom drilled if need be. On to the wheels.

First up are these Michael Waltrip Dream collection wheels. I am looking at the Heat edition wheels (the wheels to the far left). I'm not big on the little insert things at the end of each spoke, but if I do get these I'll have them color matched to the car.

Next up are these Drifz NOS wheels. I'm looking at the 505B NOS wheels with a gloss black finish and big lip! I love the 10 spoke pattern and the giant lip. I like these the best. Here is the link:

They are in the top left hand corner.

Discuss

For reference, here is my car:

No black. Black on yellow is just wrong.

Cobalt's look much better with a lipless rim.

I'd get the Michael Waltrip Dream collection wheels with the Yellow inserts.

Thanks. I have to agree.

Why not? It kinda goes with the whole theme of the car. Trust me. Polished, machined, or gun metal don't appeal to this car. I've tried a few different looks.

Then my car must be "just wrong", as you say. Thanks for the input though man.

I really really like those wheels. The more I look at them the more they grow on me. HOWEVER....
I talked to HD today and these wheels do not come in the 5 x 110 lug pattern. There isn't any room to re-drill new holes, so unless they can come up with blanks, I won't be getting these wheels. The Drifz wheels, however, do come in 5 x 110. I'll keep everyone informed! Keep those votes coming! Bump for the night crew!

To the top!
