I just picked up my 2007 Laser Blue SS/SC this afternoon. When I ordered the car it was supposed to have a high mount spoiler. The dealer was not able to find a car with this option so I got one with the low mount instead. I have noticed that many of you have swapped out the High mount for the low mount. I kinda thought it was the signature for the SS/SC so I'm wondering what everyone else thinks about the difference. Don't get me wrong the car still looks hot with the low spoiler but I had already pictured it in my head having the high spoiler. Let me hear what you think. And if anyone is interested in a low mount spoiler trade for the high mount I might be able to be presuaded to trade.

yeah the high mount is the highlight of the ss.sc but if you wanna sleep on people id stay with the low mount or no spolier at all.

 

ehhh, i never cared for it, BUT visually, the 2.4 SS has always been better looking to me than the SC. that's 90% of the reason that i don't feel bad about not getting a blown balt. in other words, except the power, there is nothing i like better about the SC, lol.

i love my rksport wing and the ability to out of my rear view mirror.

 

I personally like the way the high mount looks. It sucks driving with one though. Cant see the light bars on top of police cruisers WHICH SUCKS! But I like my little modest spoiler.

 

I went from 2.4L low spoiler to the SC high mount and it looks better. It looks best on the SS/SC and I 100% think you should get it if you are into best looks for the car. It is also the signature spoiler for it and most people recognize an SS/SC by it. I put one on mine to fool them into thinking its an SC but in reality it will be faster in a month and I'll have 2.4 and N/A badges on it.

 

Signature or not its annoying as hell, im about ready to hacksaw the piece of **** off , im sick and tired of not being able to see anything out the back window

 

I love the high mount. personally i don't think the low mount does anything aerodynamics wise either.

I think all the wing options (high, low, none) look good on the SS/SC... some days I wish I had interchangable spoilers... high one to attract attention, low one for cruisin, none for sleeper.... heheh

 

I detest the park bench wing . I went spoilerless for a long time . I jus put a LS/LT spoiler on and love it .

 

High or Low pro spoiler, either way your still gonna have blindspots in your rear view mirror

 

I backed into my sisters car because of my low spoiler. but no dents or scraches good old plastic bumpers so eather way your rear view is screwed.

 

You cant be serious! lol. How can a car, that lacks a lip, and sits higher, look better than the other! I agree with you about the wing though, It can **** some people off, I love it though. I think your in denial.

 

i have ss/na with the low spoiler and i can barely see out of my rear mirror. i dont even use it. just use the sides.

for that reason, i might get the s/c spoiler with the carbon fiber middle. i think it would look badass with my orange balt. and like i said, i dont even look at the back anymore anyway.
