Lets see your engine bay!

My exhaust is stock??? And since when was it lame to rock the css.net decal?? Also I don't have clear corner tail lights they still light up red when they blink like stock. And I wouldn't say over use of stickers either. Don't they only belong under the hood? And I can assure you my IQ is well over 70 I have been tested.

CC08 u got a nice engine bay. U get flamed on alot but you care about ur car and u put alot of work into it, whether its appreciated or not. Your gong for an over the top look. like Pimp my ride or something, and not every1 likes that. Good work on the engine bay

Thanks guys. I'm trying to figure out what to do with my PCM cover. Personally I think it's distracting so I've been thinking about either painting it, or leaving it off completely. I made some photoshops with some color ideas, but I'm not home right now so I'll post it later and see what you guys think.

Buy another ECM cover - they're not expensive. Spray it with SEVERAL coats of sandable primer. Wetsand it with 400 grit sandpaper between a few coats at a time until you get rid of the "crinkle" look. Then when the primer makes the cover look like it is smooth, paint it with your car's blue color (you can experiment with putting black in the concave areas like I did -- or come up with something else). It will look good with your "blue theme".

does anybody use WD-40 to clean their engine. One of my old friends had a 79 malibu and just sprayed wd-40 on a rag and wiped stuff down and it looked hot. Wondering if that was cool or not.

Don't think that is a good idea...in the short run WD-40 will help clean off dirt...but since it is, and will leave, an oil residue it would just begin to collect dirt and dust quicker then a truly clean and oil-free engine.

My .02> Lots of "elbow grease" or a small electric polisher and an aluminum polish -- like mothers aluminum polish. If the surface isn't smooth in an area you can use a fine sandpaper (800-1000 grit) to get it smooth, then use a white polishing compound, and finish it off with Mothers.
You can polish it with the VC on the engine, but it's easier if you remove it.

AAAAUUUUGGGGHHHH I can see the "infamous" SAI checkvalve peeking out from behind your engine!!!! Now that you've started the modding...get out there and polish that VC!
