ahahahaha you know it man. but i think i did a good job with mounting up that breather behind my intake doncha think? is there an easy way to polish the crap off the valve cover without having to take it off? i need some bling to go with my intake

Thats why i don't use Armour All either, I use a product that is called AeroSpace protect.
It's a antistatic product that rejects dust, works awesome & 1 spray bottle lasted 2 years.
I clean my engine with regular soap & water... then spray it with aerospace!

I did notice the little breather!

Taking off the valve cover makes it easier to polish.

You could start with "Mothers" aluminum polish and use it to make it look 100 times better without taking it off. A few rags and some elbow grease will clean it up nicely.

painting the valve cover is there a step to take it off or a gasket needed after removal..?

also the Supercharger... can we paint it or will it get hotter..?

i used the same gasket on mine all you do is remove the bolts holding it down ive seen painted superchargers on here before

Didn't notice till now -- the 08 TB is completely different from the 06-07 2.4 TB (connector is on the opposite side) ...and your intake manifold is the 2-piece instead of the 1-piece 06-07 intake manifold.

not really bad buddy just if you wanted to change your throttle body it would slightly harder and then intake being a 2 piece isn't really a big concern either.

Yea the TB's are not interchangable...I wonder why Chevy Chose to do that? New TB cheaper to make or better in some way? Another one of those things that make you go..HHHMMMM???

probably not but there is probably a few other changes that they did to warrant to reposition of the sensor.
