Well after about 3 weeks of waiting for the asshats at Injen to respond to my e-mail. Which they never did I decided to go ahead and repair my intake myself...Let me know what you think, positive or negative comments are welcome
Before:

and after
notice I bent the flange that caused the damage to begin with
also put on the slotted and cross drilled rotors ...LOVE 'EM

Nice paint job. Did you actually repair the damaged tube first (weld or something?)

^^^^Used J.B.Weld and a little bodywork know how. Couldn't weld it, the tube is made of aluminum.

But be careful, as it can get addicting. I painted my fuel rail cover, spark plug cover, fuse box cover, and even my oil dipstick handle red to match my victory red painttt . it looks pretty damn good.

You can weld aluminum. TIG is the best way.

Yeah I know used to weld it on R.V.'s for Earnhardts, but I personally do not own a TIG welder

Thanks for the compliments!!! Figured I'd fix the problem since Injen didn't want to "Man up" and respond to an obvious design flaw.

Nice. Looks great, but sucks that you had to do it.

To prevent that from happening, I picked up a length of windshield sprayer tubing, cut it to size, slit it down the middle, and stuck it on there.
