Lower lip removal...

I did a search to find out if there is a post on how to remove the lower lip on the bumper on an ss/sc. The reason i am asking is i had an incident where I scraped the bottom on a curb because some **** was parked behind me and I had to maneuver to get out. I told him about it and he said “ I gave you plenty of room not knowing that the ss/sc doesn’t have the same turning radius comaired to his mazda 323.

So since its bugging me I plan to remove it and get it either replaced or refinished.

I f-ed up my front lip on a curb i didn't see in the rain. You now that inner wheel well plastic u have to pull when changing air filters. There are locking clips in there that hold it on. same on the other side. oh and in the middle (under the opening) there are push in clips. you my have to pull the wheels. (forgive my spelling) sped 101

Thanx Night Blade, I thought it would be pretty simple. Does anyone have any idea on price for a replacement?

I never got another one because about a month last I hit a deer and just let the insurance comp. pay for it. They thought the deer ripped it off.

yea just f'kd mine up on my ice filled driveway..grrr. anyways I don't think it is meant to come off without taking the whole bumper off because their are a couple metal clips at the bumper round part that I don't think u can reach with the bumper on.

guess i need a new one now since all the clips are busted..too bad waste of an otherwise good lip.

I went to a paint repair shop. He informs me that he could fix the sratches for about $250 and fix any paint chips for free. I will have to wait until the spring to see how things pan out.
