Need to tweak fitment a little bit, center it up better and trim down the posts a little more. But not too bad for only using a dremel and liquid nails lol. Sorry for the shitty pictures

If my carbon Tjin trunk wasn't en-route, I would definitely thieve your idea. Looks good! I'm honestly shocked that in the 7+ years of Cobalts being modified that your mod hasn't been done before to the best of my knowledge.

All a matter of opinion. I think this mod is tasteful and unique. Wingless is nice as well. To do it properly, you're going to spend either:
A). a good chunk of money
B). a good ***** of time
or
C). both
IMO, this is a nice alternative.
At the end of the day, though....Tjin trunk > all

Thanks for all the comments guys, I'm not really sure about the best way to go about making a how-to seeing as how there were no measurements or pictures taken during the process.
What I did was (and this isn't going to be nearly as detailed as I want it to be):
1) remove spoiler
2) take dremel and cut the "posts" off the spoiler so that you now have 2 large squares.
3) this is where it gets tricky, you're going to need to cut the posts themselves. What I did was cut them completely flat where the front bolt is and then taper it up to where the back of the post was at about half the height it was originally. This was done with a dremel as well.
4) Hardest part. Take your cut posts and mount them INSIDE the squares you cut previously. I glued mine down with liquid nails.
5) Let it sit over night
6) install spoiler
Horrible how to I know, I really need to take the spoiler back off and take pictures to explain better but I've been swamped with work and preparing for school. Sorry guys
