damn didn't think I'd get alot of **** for some PLASTIC covers. Like I said they're just there until I get my rims, thought I'd have fun with it. Not like I can't take them off in 2 minutes. ya know? But I'm glad it got some laughs.

 

We have one finished! This one had about 5 coats of black and 2 coats of clear. I think it turned out pretty nice.





Me and my brother should be finished and have all of them on my car by tonight. I'll take tons of pics!

They look better than I expected so good job. Is the paint you used some kind of metallic or sparkle paint because it looks different than regular black. I also recomend putting on like another 3-5 coats of clear because it will help to keep them from chipping. Can't wait to see the on car pics.

 

Yup Metallic Black. The 2 coats I put on were pretty heavy so I'm not worried about them chipping.

Just finished painting the bowties on the other 3 and they're waiting to be clear coated. 2 of em turned out really good and the other not so much. Its fine though, its not really noticable unless you shine DIRECT light on to it. PICS ARE COMING! BE PATIENT!

dude...that seriously looks nice as hell...the only thing im not diggin is the drum brake...but the sad part is i just ordered a set of rims and i got drums on the back too...so now ill be forced to look at my drums

So far they look good. Get thoose tires clean and some tire shine and it may look even better.

 

Yes they look very good, I didn't feel like taking all the time to do that. I just wanted something that will make my car stick out for a little bit. And yes those are coming off soon anyways. lol. Plus draw too much attention to me, I just put on my 5% tint all the way around, so I'm sure the cops wont have a problem spotting me. Good thing I work with some of them.
