i used the belt sander to remove the casting ridges, but it left some pretty deep scars. won't do that on the second one. All sandpaper, with some mother's mag/aluminum polish

Yeah, going though all that labor to do that, to get them powder coated clear, would be well worth it IMO. It shouldn't be more than $20 for both. But I am not sure how the factory rubber bushings would hold up to the 400-450 degree temps...

Good point, to be honest, i hadn't really thought that far ahead. Its not to hard to jack the car up though and give it a quick rubdown with the aluminum polish.

i usually pull the wheels off once or twice a month to clean everything under there anyways. One of the downsides to cheap chinese coilovers is that they like to corrode.

Nah just get a nice size mirror about the same width as your front end and just slide it a little under the front youll see them just fine

just making sure since i have followed the rest of ur suspension and noticed u still had stock bushings lol
ur gonna need a press to install them i tried for 2hrs without it then failed and then took it my friend, 5mins to do it with a press lol
