I've heard these things called several different names. Oh crap handles. Holy **** bars. Oh **** handles. Etc etc. I think GM calls them "assist straps" but whatever. Just want to confirm, are these things only present in vehicles without a sunroof? Or is it completely random or something?

 

i think so, mine has a sunroof, but no 'oshit handles'

however my friends sedan has no sunroof and has them... i'm pretty sure

same thing goes for domelights, i dont have one

 

I had an lt coupe with no sunroof and still didnt have them

 

I think it may only be a sedan thing. Although I would appreciate some in my boyfriends SS when he decides he wants to take the back roads to his parents house (tons of curves)

 

My LS doesn't have a sunroof and I don't have them. All I got were those stupid hanger hooks..

I think it also depends on if you have the side curtain air bags. My G5 GT with side airbags, no sunroof, does not have them.

 

Can you confirm that your friends sedan has them? Cause so far no one else has them.
