im thinking it might be worth while to start with the led tails... Now i havent seen them in person but it looks like the leds are just in the middle with just the red halo on the outside that illuminates from the light from the center led... If thats correct all it would take would be a piece of metal or reflective plastic to seperate these areas. Then add leds to the outer halo and rewire so the centers are 3rd brake and the halo is driving lights. Combined with the adjustable resistor that oragami used that would be the perfect setup

about those euro lights i give them the thumbs down

it says they are euro tail lights but if you look at the picture they are led tail lights. the original poster was asking about the tail lights lighting up like a corvette. the lights from that website do just that.

those lights arent to bad, but because they are LEDs they just dont get the same effect, although id have to see them lit up, and is it the outer halos on all four that stay lit while driving?

the picture shows them all lit up but it doesn't have a good description fo what happens as far as lighting up the lights. I do agree with you on that it wouldn't quite have the same effect though.

I donno if anyone has thaught of or done this. I kow that a guy on here put red led's in his reverse lights and wired them up so the come on (like a corvette) when the brakes are hit. But he has no reverse lights now.. But, what if you get the bumper of a Pontiac G5/Pursuit which has the reverse lights built into them and wire those up? Thats what i want to do but dont have the time or money right now. Do you guys think that would look good or no?
