The metal ones? You might find those at Lowe's. The one here has a small section with automotive fasteners, if it's close, it's worth a look.

i know this is an old thread but figured id do a search and see what i come up with before i start my own new one.... so im seeing i need 12 clips part# 22688427..... now someone in this thread said i need # 7 in that drawing so im assuming the left and right is required or can it work without? also crate engine depot is selling s bumper lip "kit" and it includes the previous part number i listed along with 2 #10134407, 4 "retainers" # 2563144. doesnt list any bracket though. and of course gmpartsdirect sells the 12 tabs ya need in packages of 1 and the pn that i need 4 of sell it in packages of 10. so im confused! please help! also the 12 clips that are needed can someone post a pic what they look like. because none of the sites have a good picture of them. thanks chris

 

i would say the number 7 you need both left and right side. ive never seen this lip kit. the clip is like an L shape with a weird hump near the bend.

 

That number 7 bracket really isn't 100% necessary. Also, unless u remove the bumper cover it's near impossible to get the 4 clips in the middle on. 8 clips will suffice, and instead of ordering the push pin type clips for the other spots in the middle i just used some nuts and bolts

number 7 is like a reinforcement for the lip. you can do without but its more sturdy if you have it. bolts to the lip and the bumper iirc

You don't need it. My lip is sturdy and it doesn't budge.

 

so i do NOT have this and i have a gap. i have SS liners. looked at my friends SS and his looks this number 7 peiece seals up the gap like i have

am going to in just a few. need to see if the dealer has a bumper absorber for cheaper than GMPD price. if not im ordering that too.

GM wants 79 a piece for the brackets. when they are 42 and 46 a piece on GMPD

 

GMPD has ridiculous shipping rates.. It might even out.

 

well shipping was 33. for the 2 brackets and the big absorber
