yeah i thought so too... but believe it or not... thats a fuuuulll can that covers 25 square feet on just the door... with a couple layers of primer under.... i used krylons new interior/exterior paint where you can change the spray to either up n down l diag / sideways - or other diag \ its pretty nice... $2.50 a can

then clearcoated

i have never had chipping problems in the past... just clean thoooorough and sand it a lil... clean again and just primer.. let dry... paint... let dry and gooood coats of clearcoat... thats all... but patience is huge... 4.5 hours per door but im a perfectionist with taping off too

Kudos for using a clearcoat. Did the interior of my Camaro with just paint, no primer, and a bit of sanding, it chipped to shi- in less than 3 months.

Semigloss is excellent. I'm a matte guy myself, but that semigloss is amazing. I think where it looks "light" is where there is a lens flare, it looks consistent in a circle, so do not fret about going too light!

That's nice looking...I'm trying to decide how to do mine...I don't want to go overboard with the white...any comments... should I do it like this or do it opposite ?
