I have no clue on the weight of the Duraflex or the Carbon Creations yet just because they haven't been mass produced yet. So your guess would be as good as mine. The CC will obviously way less

=\ Looks like the weekend has filled up the list. Sorry I couldn't get back to you sooner.

If the DF is cheaper but not as quality as the CF, then I want CF.
Take my word for it and go with the Carbon.

Everyone that I have cut out of the list will not be eligible for a trunk if they don't make a decision soon. I apologize though if somehow through these 22 pages I have missed the update. There is no way for me to post pictures of a Duraflex or a Carbon Creations trunk until they come back for the people on the list. I need to make space available for those who want to get on the list but can't because its full. Thanks for understanding.

Please pick: Duraflex or Carbon Creations

Side note: If I had a Cobalt, Carbon Creations hands down!

was hoping to see a finished product 1st but if I have to choose now, I think CC will be the safest bet.

Another question too. Will this tjin style ship as a whole trunk or will it be a piece we have to mount on our existing trunk?

Ask as many questions as you need to, this isn't a cheap purchase. The trunk and wing will be integrated into a one piece. So you would be replacing your entire trunk and put this one on. Ask as many questions as necessary.

Please reference to Page 1 to see the most current list.

If a customers name is in Bold this means they have not yet made up they're minds on which trunk they want (Duraflex/CarbonCreations). If you want to get on the list please PM me or post here and if I don't hear back from them 48-72 from today (06/13/11) then I will add you to the list. Max of 25 people. Thank You.

Please remove me from the list. I'm not going to make a decision for which one to purchase without seeing the final product. Sorry.

Not a problem. All you have to decide on is the material, Carbon Fiber versus Duraflex.. the trunk doesn't change shape based on the material. If you don't want to deal with painting, sanding and prepping go with the Carbon Fiber. If you are going to paint it regardless go with a Duraflex to save money. Either way, thanks for your interest in the trunk.

List Updated.

Done.

Side note: For the people who are asking to be taken off the list, I will be leaving a Neutral comment under the iTrader feedback for that individual. I lived up to what I said I was going to provide picture wise, I hope you folks understand. Thank you.

just wondering about the durability on the carbon creations products. how does it hold up in the cold. i live in PA and last winter was pretty brutal. had my car in hibernation for acouple months. do i have to worry about any cracking or splitting if its sitting outside during winter (under a car cover). do you have to worry about warping/crackin/splitin carbon creation OEM hoods. im sure the quality of ED carboncreations is A+++.

The quality of our Carbon Creations products are top notch. All of our CC products come with a High Gloss Finish and UV Coating. Also, you get a 1 year limited warranty, hazing or clear coat coming off. So within 1 year I am sure you'll be able to test the product and see what kind of elements our CC products can withstand. Hope this answered your question.
